Not recently, but I worked with a professor to help develop an AI-based system for early rice disease detection using YOLOv8 for detection and DenseNet-121 for classification. We achieved 93% accuracy on the Kaggle dataset and 96% accuracy on a Vietnamese dataset, and published a paper (Detection and Recognition of Rice Leaf Diseases Using Deep Neural Networks, SPIE Digital Library)
