DataXquad
Của DataXquadAt DataXquad, our mission is to make industrial AI truly accessible. Founded in 2023 and headquartered in Taichung, Taiwan, we specialize in creating low-barrier, productized AIoT solutions that help utilities and industrial enterprises adopt advanced optimization technology without the high cost, complexity, or disruption typically associated with digital transformation. Our core team brings over 40 years of cross-disciplinary experience in AI, IoT, and operation optimization, with a proven track record from product ideation to large-scale deployment. We were featured in the 2024 Taiwan AI Startup Map and selected by leading international innovation accelerators. Unlike costly, hardware-dependent Western AIoT solutions, our products are lightweight, scalable, and built for local integration—making them highly relevant to industrial players across Asia, the Middle East, and other emerging markets. Our current solutions include: AquaOptima — the AI operator for water utilities, delivering 15–35% energy savings, improved stability, and reduced leakage. BladeSense — an AI platform for CNC tool management, reducing downtime and improving productivity.

Autonomous control for resilient, efficient and reliable national water services.
Municipal water utilities in APAC still operate many water stations (pumps) manually. Operators run 3 shifts to monitor and control pumping assets 24/7, and decisions often rely on experience and intuition rather than real-time optimization. As a result, pumps frequently run at only 50–80% of design efficiency, and control updates happen only a few times a day—creating a lagged and imprecise response when demand changes. This drives three major problems for the utility operations team (operators, SCADA/PLC engineers, and maintenance leads): (1) Energy waste: >20% energy waste is common, and water utilities are major electricity users (often cited as ~5% of global electricity). (2) Reliability and service quality: imprecise supply and pressure swings contribute to service disruptions, customer complaints, and over-pressurization that increases leaks and bursts—NRW/treated water loss is often >25% in many APAC systems. (3) Workforce and asset stress: utilities face a workforce gap with many experienced operators (~30%) nearing retirement, while unstable operations can shorten asset lifespan (up to ~20%).

- Taiwan Water Corporation - the primary water utility in taiwan.
We have engaged with the two Taiwan water utilities (1 paying site + 1 pilot in procurement with Taiwan Water Corp and 1 pilot in procurement with Taipei Water Department). Regionally, we are building a pipeline - having discussion with APAC utility decision makers and partners - Singapore (PUB with ST Engineering Smart Utilties), Malaysia (Indah Water Konsortium with H2OData Tech and Indonesia (BSD City with Sinarmas). Our awards: APICTA Awards 2025: Winner — Digital Government; Winner — R&D Project of the Year; 2nd Runner-Up — Business Data Analytics. TW–SG Startup Exchange Program: Selected participant (organized by ACE Singapore and Taiwan Startup Terrace). Taiwan Social Innovation: Registered Social Innovation Organization; Special Prize winner at Buying Power Social Innovation Products & Services Procurement Awards.
