Problem statement

The warehouse counting process is performed manually, leading to multiple inaccurate counts and difficulties in identifying/locating goods in the warehouse. (Current counting time and discrepancy rate between physical and system inventory need to be quantified).

Expected outcomes and success metrics

Collect actual images/videos in the warehouse. Data labeling by item code. Train AI model for product identification & location. Integrate AI with the warehouse system (WMS/Bravo). Build a dashboard for inventory counting & monitoring based on images.

Current process

Manual counting, Multiple counts.

Current solution

Manual counting, Multiple counts.

Target users and impacted teams

Warehouse Management Department (WMS), Inventory Accounting, Supply Chain Coordination

Data availability and readiness

Actual images/videos of products and locations in the warehouse need to be collected and labeled by item code. The input data is unstructured (images/videos) and needs to be integrated with structured data (item code) from the system.

Integration, deployment and infrastructure

Requires API integration with the existing warehouse management system (WMS/Bravo). Image/video processing may require GPU infrastructure (needs clarification). A monitoring Dashboard needs to be built.
