Why it is worth it
Our competitive advantage is in our approach to guiding interviewers through coaching for roles augmented with realistic video interviews, while our competitors just allow practice sessions, no coaching and audio only. We are already using proprietary evals for our own models which will further strengthen our moat while providing an additional revenue opportunity providing that service to LLM’s. Incumbents like vMock are slow to adopt AI, and startups like FinalRoundAI help you cheat, not prepare, making us more attractive to enterprise customers. Competitors include Big Interview and Yoodli
- B2C: Candidates lack realistic, role-specific practice and get vague feedback. Today they binge generic videos or pay $250+/hr; multi-session prep often costs $500–$1,000.
- Enterprise: Many roles draw 250+ applicants. Teams review manually with ad-hoc rubrics, then still spend about $4,700 per hire. Career centers and workforce programs face the same scale problem.

Best customer profile
- Consumer (B2C)
- Our ideal consumer is a motivated job seeker in tech, business, or healthcare who needs faster, higher-quality practice than a friend or career center can provide. Typical profiles include recent graduates and early-career professionals (0–7 years), career switchers moving into product, data, sales, or consulting, and veterans transitioning to civilian roles. Key pain points: anxiety under pressure, weak behavioral stories, inconsistent feedback, limited access to mock interview partners, and unclear standards for “what good looks like.” They benefit from on-demand, hyper-real mock interviews with instant scoring, targeted drills, and repeatable coaching that tracks progress over time.
- Business (B2B/B2B2C)
- (1) Universities and bootcamps (student success and career services; 5k–40k enrolled). Buyer is the Director/AVP of Career Services; champions include program heads for business, CS, and data. Pain points: limited staff to run mock interviews at scale, uneven coach quality, low student practice frequency, and weak placement metrics. Value: scalable practice across majors, consistent rubrics, dashboards for engagement and outcomes, and content aligned to employer expectations.
- (2) Workforce development and outplacement providers (regional to national; 1k–50k participants per year). Buyer is Program Director or VP Operations. Pain points: diverse learner needs, compliance and reporting, employer demand for job-ready communication skills, and budget pressure. Value: standardized training and measurement, multilingual support, employer-aligned scenarios, and clear ROI via placement and retention KPIs.
- (3) Mid-market enterprises hiring at volume in sales, support, retail, and entry-level corporate roles (500–5,000 employees). Buyer is TA/HR leadership; champions are Sales Enablement or L&D. Pain points: inconsistent interview quality, interviewer bias, ramp time for new hires, and high attrition. Value: calibrated simulations for screening and prep, interviewer enablement, and analytics that improve signal and reduce time to hire.
